Reading Métis Stories

I'm beginning a reading journey. I have a list of books by Métis authors that I am going to read over the next year. As a Métis woman originally from Alberta, I've been listening to my mother's stories since I was born and now I want to pay close attention to the stories Mêtis writers are telling about what it means to be Métis today. I'll take you all along on the journey, one book response at a time! First up: The Break by Katherena Vermette.
